Landrani Luxury Lodge in Oudtshoorn

Landrani's self-catering cabins are set on a working sheep farm in the Klein Karoo. Each cabin includes air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso machine, and a private bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers plus a sunken bathtub with mountain views. Some cabins have a KolKol hot tub on a private deck. Multiple cabins offer panoramic views of the Swartberg mountains and roaming antelope like gemsbok and kudu. All cabins have automatic blinds, a pellet fireplace for cold nights, and a braai area for cooking.

The main lodge restaurant serves South African cuisine for dinner, with a focus on lamb from the farm's Meatmaster butchery. Guests can also order pre-packed braai packs or prepared meals delivered to their cabin. Breakfast baskets are available, and the lodge has a 24-hour honesty bar. The outdoor seating areas include a deck with mountain views, and the restaurant's menu features dishes like bobotie and lamb ribs. All food must be pre-booked before arrival.

The lodge has an outdoor infinity pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, open year-round. The property includes a garden, sun terrace, and an outdoor fireplace with BBQ facilities. Guests can walk the concrete road around the farm to see springbok, kudu, and nyala, or feed lambs with staff. The main lounge has board games and puzzles. A massage service is available upon request. The pool offers views of the surrounding mountains.

Landrani is 87 km from George Airport and a 25-minute drive from Oudtshoorn, reached via a 7-km maintained dirt road. Attractions within an hour's drive include Oudtshoorn Golf Course (26 km), Cango Wildlife Ranch (31 km), and the Cango Caves. Vehicles are parked at a secure gate, and guests are transported to their cabins by 4x4 golf cart. The farm offers complete privacy with no vehicle noise, but there is no cellular signal - only free WiFi in the cabins and lodge.
